The Whole Five Feet is done! Thanks to all of you who have followed my progress over the past year. Please check back to this site for news about my memoir of this reading year, which will also be called The Whole Five Feet, but which will consist of entirely new material. The book is tentatively scheduled to appear in the Spring of 2009, to coincide with the centennial of Dr. Eliot's Five Foot Shelf. In the meantime, the archives to this site can now be found here.
I will also be blogging occasionally at www.christopherbeha.com. Among other things, I'll be posting my thoughts there on the Harvard Classic's Fiction Shelf, which I plan to read this year (it's a rather less ambitious project).
